LHS Band and Percussion
The LHS Band performed their Winter Concert in December that included “Christmas Vacation,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and “Christmas Finale.” We are in full swing playing at varsity basketball games, and we have even added a new pep band song. Stay tuned to listen and find out what we have been learning for games. The bands are also working towards splitting up into three concert bands: symphonic band, wind ensemble, and jazz band. The percussion class is working on their winter program to perform at the variety show in March. Finally, we have a group of students who successfully auditioned for the UNK Honor Band and one student that will attend the UNL Winter Winds Festival.
